This resource contains two CV templates that you can fill in with your own information. The CV's are formatted and have space for you to type in your specific information. There are prompts to help you with this.
They are standard CV's and it will generally be up to personal preference as to which one you will choose to use.
It would be useful to have basic word skills to work with the documents. Delete any information not required by selecting and using the Delete key. Remember a hard page break is Ctrl Enter. Use this instead of just continually using the enter key as this can muck up formatting.
This bundle includes a step by step guide on Microsoft PowerPoint as well as a presentation checklist and planning sheet. It also includes an interactive activity for learners to review a PowerPoint presentation and provide feedback.
Also a Card Deck Activity that has so many uses for groups and generates great discussions. Excellent preparation tool for learners.

This is a complete lesson on complaint resolution using the TACTICS method.
The resource contains a lesson plan, worksheets, diagrams of the model, a company policy to review, and practical exercises for the group to carry out. There is also a feedback form included.
The acronym TACTICS is used to work through a step by step process to handle a complaint from a customer. This is an important aspect of customer service. Once the learner has reviewed the process, it is a good idea to have the class separate into groups and role play various complaints scenarios using this method. All documentation is provided.
I have used this successfully with a Business training class. They enjoyed it and provided excellent feedback.

Email is the most common form of communication in the workplace and it is important to get it right. The Resource contains an e-book that contains six critical steps to ensuring your email is delivered to the recipient in a professional manner. Common mistakes have been addressed for those that have English as a Second Language and there are some practical exercises to be completed around grammar within. The answers are also supplied.
The second resource is a PowerPoint presentation that is useful for leadership coaching. It is interactive, and in the notes page of the presentation there are examples of activities for the learners to participate in as you work your way through the presentation.

This resource has been developed as a practice Exercise for learners who have been introduced to Pivot Tables in Excel.
It is a practical task that can be undertaken in teams, pairs or individually. It includes a set of data that needs to be analysed. Learners are required to brainstorm questions that a Sales Manager would need to know about the transactional data. They then create pivot tables based on the questions.
There is a second spreadsheet that contains 8 sample questions and pivot tables that relate to the questions.
This activity has been well received in my classroom of adult learners. They become very engaged in the process and develop a better understanding of the use of pivot tables.
Canva is an excellent, free, design tool that can save you time and money. It makes sense to use this instead of paying for expensive designers. This resource comes in PPT form and a pdf. The PPT is 27 slides.
This training PowerPoint and PDF is a basic step by step guide to get you started. A Facebook post is created for the purposes of an example, however, the skills learnt can be applied to other promotional documents such as Covers, brochures, posters, instagram posts, twitter posts, etc.
You can use Canva to market your store, and / or use it as a class lesson. Students / learners can create posters, design promotional material on a topic of your choice, etc.

Microsoft Word Tables is a 20 page step by step training manual with screen shots that will have yourself and/or your learners mastering tables in Microsoft Word in no time at all. This will add professionalism to worksheets, reports and other documentation. It is an essential skill.
It includes a Teacher Training Manual, a Student Training Manual and exercise files. It has 5 exercises at the end of the Manual for students to complete.
You are supplied with both Word format and pdf. In case you wish to edit the manuals for your own purposes.
This can be used for instructor led training and / or for students to work through on their own.
This activity is for learners to get to know more about each other. It can be used as a warmer or ice breaker at the beginning of a lesson.
Hand out the worksheet and have students work in pairs to fill it in. They need to talk to other people in the class to find out anything that they may have in common.
Works well for a speaking activity. Is a lot of fun!
This resource is a powerpoint presentation that shows how to add and subtract time using simple maths rules. It has an example of an easy and more challenging task.
I use this in the workplace with groups of learners when practicing filling out timesheets. They can follow the examples given with answers and then create their own examples to test each other on.
One of the most common gripes within the workplace is time wasted on Meetings. The first step to working on this is to define what a successful meeting looks like for your team. This brainstorming template is a starting point.
